Whispers from the Heart

Over the years my heart has whispered expressions of love.
I now whisper them back to the Universe. .

Be Still and listen to your heart.
It is the voice of God
pulsating to the rhythm of the Universe
transmitting a message
through your soul to you.

God Is...

GOD is the Lifestream in which I live
GOD is the Lovestream in which I forgive
GOD is the Lightstream that guides my way
Through the dark night to a bright new day

GOD is desire urging His will
GOD is the silence in which I am still
GOD is the voice my silence has heard
Whispering His message, revealing Her Word

GOD is my peace in the midst of a storm
GOD is the work I delight to perform
GOD is the star toward which I reach
Grasping Her wisdom from which I teach

GOD is the Mindstream infilling my thoughts
GOD is the power by which all is wrought
Mine is the mind on which GOD impresses
I am a channel through which GOD expresses
GOD is the kingdom His pleasure to give
I dwell in that kingdom as I live
GOD is the substance providing my needs
As I walk the Pathway fulfilling my dreams
GOD is the image in which I am made
After Her likeness exquisitely laid
GOD is the breath of life that I breathe
The Holy Spirit of grace I receive
GOD is the river that flows from within
The wellspring of goodness there She begins
GOD is the sun flung high up above
GOD is the rainbow, His promise of Love
GOD is the flame in my brother's heart
Sealing the bond though we may be apart
I live, and I love obeying GOD's rules
My mind is GOD's workshop - my hands are His tools

TO MOM

Who taught me a love for humankind - the proper way to treat a brother/sister - the basic principles that guide my life expanded to guide the lives of others. I'll spread your love and teach your love to all of humankind and humanity will move to a higher level. For this I live - for this I work. For this I thank you for planting the SEED OF LOVE WITHIN ME.

I thank you, GOD, for giving us a loving Mother
Who taught us to love our sisters and our brothers.
She did not spoil the child nor spare the rod
But she taught us each the ways of GOD;
She nursed us through all illness, trials and cares;
We felt her loving touch was always there.
We thank you, GOD, for giving us a loving mother
for we know, like her, there is none other.
(She is now at peace in the arms of GOD.)

The Peace of Christ

There is a peace that Christ bestows on us
The Holy Presence resides in us still
To lift us all beyond the world of care
That we may come to know God's Holy Will

God's Holy Will for us is only good
He makes no promise to us more than this
The good of God is all we ever need
When we align our little will with His
Christ comes as messenger of Holy Will
To show the way that we may find our place
The place prepared for us within our hearts
Where we may see the Master face to face
There is a peace that Christ bestows on us
A peace so pure we never feel alone
The Holy Spirit's here to guide us through
Till we awake to our eternal home

ROSICRUCIAN PARK

Vibrations from the warm sun rays
The trickle of the fountain sprays
The beauty of the skyward trees
The cool refreshing summer breeze
The color of the roses red
An airplane flying overhead
The sound of crickets in the ground
A cactus set upon the mound
The chirping of the many birds
And conversations overheard
A pigeon perched upon a rock
Just flew away to find his flock
The soror sitting next to me
With pen and paper on her knee
A fratre working on his play
A family come to spend the day
The fingers of the great palm leaves
That sway and dance upon the breeze
Egyptian columns standing tall
And hieroglyphics on the wall
The Sphinx, he sits majestically
Guarding the university
And COSMIC LOVE pervades the air
OOOM, I feel it everywhere!

COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS

The sun shone brilliantly in all its glory
Spreading warmth and light.
It permeated the seeds of life
And set the rhythm of the universe amove
It brought forth beauty and splendor o'er all the earth
Volcanic pulsations bulged out from the center of the earth
And exploded into great majestic mountains
That overlooked the running streams
As they converged into the mighty river
The river flowed into rapids
Cascading into magnificent waterfalls
As the dark brown earth became rich and fertile
It brought forth trees and shrubs of green
And multitudinous forms of floral arrays
Small creatures emerged to feast upon the earth's greenery
And the world was filled with animated consciousness
Yet ignorant of its own being
Thus, evolving complexity brought forth THOUGHT
With its unique quality of reflection
Thought reflected upon its own existence,
The existence of nature and the UNIVERSAL ENERGY
That pervades all things and propels all movement
And HUMANITY, through its reflection of thought
Became illumined and comprehended its
ONENESS with the COSMOS.
And the SON shone brilliantly in all its Glory!

. THE DOGWOOD TREE
Sleeping, twisted winter limbs Awaken to the dawn of spring Its agile branches have begun To wind their way toward the sun Its buds sprout up, their fragrance share Pink blossoms coloring the air And soon the leaves a vivid green Replace the blossoms on the scene The branches weighed with nature's growth Continue winding like an oath Was taken to extend a hand To lift the creatures of the land These winding branches seem to say "REACH OUT and MAKE A FRIEND TODAY!" .

FLEETING LIGHT
You came - and stayed but a little while
You offered nothing but a smile
In that brief time a ray of light
Served to brighten up my life
Then suddenly the light went dim
And we had no more time to spend
As lights do come and lights do go
And we get tossed to and fro
On the sea of life
I remind myself that all experiences are
A part of growing, learning and developing
And so I grow, and life goes on
Caring not if it does right or wrong
You came and stayed but a little while
You offered nothing but a smile
But I quite enjoyed your brief stay
And hope we meet again some day.

THE GIFT OF LOVE
GOD gave to me the gift of love And I shall pass it on For sharing love makes life more full And so I share my love with you And being loved makes life more rich Receive it and enjoy the wealth And likewise share with another soul Where e'er your heart doth dwell As I gain joy from loving you You're free to share your wealth With one, whomever you may choose And gain your joy as well But look not to receive it back From that self-same soul For the joy of love lies in the loving It is not ours to hold For GOD has made decree that love Freely given from the heart Must eventually return unto The place from which it start So as this love is spread around It multiplies and grows And when it does return to you 'Twill be ten thousand fold.

THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE
I view the world without any pain
as Those around me are drenched with rain
As the wind blows fiercely the struggle in vain
to reach the eye of the hurricane
They have yet to discover the secret of life
TO LIVE with their fellowman free from strife
and to share their love with another life
to reach the eye of the hurricane
they search and wander all around
not knowing where peace can e'er be found
they seek a place where love abounds
to reach the eye of the hurricane
still they must discover that sacred peace
that removes them from the wings of the beast
they'd give their all - their lives at least
to reach the eye of the hurricane
Harken - I'll tell you where to begin
to lift yourselves from the dirges of sin
search thine own Self deep within
for there lies the eye of the hurricane

TO THE WEST WIND

WEST WIND- gentle breeze
Blow softly through my fragrant leaves
And soothe me with your sweet caress
So filled with warmth and tenderness
That I respond to the gentle breeze
With the sway and rhythm you conceive
WEST WIND - autumn breeze
Whistle through my tinted leaves
And clear my limbs of withered growth
As I avow this solemn oath
That once again I shall bear fruit
The fruit of LOVE borne from the root
WEST WIND - winter breeze
Blow gently o'er the icy freeze
Melt the snow that chills my limbs
And I'll rejuvenate again
Nurtured within this sturdy frame
Is the LOVE that brings life back again
WEST WIND - gentle breeze

Caress the blossoms of the spring
On which the sparrow will perch and sing
And I'll respond to the gentle breeze

ODE TO LOVE
You are the snowflakes that fall in winter And beautify the world Yet the heat that warms in the midst of a blizzard The cool brisk air that rejuvenates my life With every breath that I draw so deeply As to fill every corner of my soulful being with you And live! The rhythm of my heart - your heart Of the wild ram and lioness Of the planets, the seasons - the rhythm of life You are the rain that irrigates the earth in spring And evokes all things live to grow and produce The fruit that feeds the body The Spirit that feeds the soul The thoughts that feed the mind The LOVE that feeds my heart THE FOOD OF LIFE! The green that paints the world in summer As we walk through the gardens enjoying its beauty Inhaling the sweet fragrance that permeates the air; You are the splendor of the autumn leaves Transforming themselves into scenes upon scenes Of variant hues - that only nature can create The liberated bird that flies as free as the wind The wind itself that creates a tumultuous storm Or a warm, tranquil breeze Your are the burst of energy that soars through My very being and floods me with sweet, ecstatic joy The Light within that shines its rays upon others The torch that lights he way on the Path to enlightenment You are the radiation of warmth from those who share And the feeling of comfort in the midst of that sharing The blending of shared lights that set the stars Upon the heavens - illuminating the universe I WILL ADD MY LIGHT TO YOURS, and WE WILL SHARE OUR LOVE WITH THE WORLD!

Unfinished Poem

This too, too earthly body of the soul
That keeps my story half untold
Without it shines, and people see
An aura of light surrounding me
Within it cries for a new vibration
To lift this soul to a higher station
This lowly being within seeks Love
Illumination from above
O' ray of light surrounding me
Infuse my being as the sea
Rolls o'er the sands and moistens every grain
As flowers soak the love drops of the rain
O' Sacred Truth of nature's law
Before me as I stand in awe
Make manifest they holy rite
Of LOVE, the LIGHT of LIFE.

Whispers of Hope
Whispers of hope flow through my thoughts
For a new light into my life is brought
And with it a new and high vibration
Through which will manifest a true expression
Of Cosmic Will that will inspire
The sympathy I so desire
My inner-self whispers into my ear
Expressing the thoughts I've longed to hear
That Love will manifest in all life
And peace and harmony without strife
Will become the guiding force in life
Whispers of hope my thoughts pervade
While on Thy breast my head is laid
That Divine Love will surely bring
The peace that leads my heart to sing
Of souls united through sympathy

THE LONELY TRAVELER
A long and lonely path I walk
I have no one with whom to talk
And blend my sympathies, its true
Or share my joys and sorrows too
What happened to the hopes I had
That love would come and make me glad
I work for others, yes I do
But I also have wishes too
Yet no one seems to notice them
Or how alone I really am.
A long and lonely road I tread
I have no place to lay my head
Save all alone when it is late
No soul seeks to communicate
With this sad and lonely soul
And so my story's left untold
I work for others, yes I do
But I have needs as others to
Yet no one seems to notice them
Or how alone I really am.
A long and lonely course I run
And yet the course has just begun
I run alone - it seems ordained
How difficult to bear the pain
Of loneliness as life goes on
I seek companionship of one
Who'll share my work for others true
And understand my wishes too

A long and lonely path I travel
Its mysteries I seek to unravel
But must I plod the path alone?
Is there no soul to meet my own?
Is there no traveler on the way
With whom to sojourn day by day?

A WORD FROM WITHIN
It is my GOD who speaks to me and tells my heart, "Be still" You cannot gain another's l ove unless it be his will He must be willing to unite his heart with yours, you see To manifest the perfect love sewn in the cosmic seed So still your heart and listen to the Still Small Voice within For it alone can lead you to the place you should begin To travel to complete yourself; so let your search begin And you will find the love you seek if you'll but look within

SYMPATHY
A union of harmonic souls that strikes a sympathetic chord Striving ever to reach the goal of raising the total vibration of humanity Who understand each other's needs and complement each other's will Positive-Negative Ra-Ma, a dual function within the Unity Not complete one without the other One provides strength, the other compassion One desire, the other will - one the will, the other the way One gives, the other receives Within each aspect is the seed of the other Which allows the growth of all traits in both And a sympathetic understanding between the two An harmonious vibration that strikes a chord in the universe And reverberates Peace Profound throughout An harmonious relation brought together For the express purpose of sharing Sharing its Love with humanity and Peace with the world Sharing the vibration of a higher octave And raising that frequency higher still To reach the total vibration of the Universe Which is - PURE LOVE The mission - to carry that Love to the far corners of the earth - to spread the blanket of Peace Across each land and plant the seeds of Love until The entire earth is covered with a patch-work quilt of LOVE - PEACE - HARMONY Then will the sympathetic souls have completed their mission And returned to the Divine Source of all souls There to experience the universality of COSMIC LOVE and EVERLASTING PEACE.

HOMECOMING

Returning to a place long gone
Reminds me of a coming home
Warm welcomes from associates past
Who say, "You have returned at last.

"It's good to see you back," they say.
I say, "I've never been away;
Objectively I was not seen
Visually was I off the scene
But not away, my thoughts were here."
And though for nearly half a year
You set me free the world to roam

It's good to be returning home
My place beside you to assume
Never again to leave my home.

HOPE

Hope is a whisper from GOD above
That tells us there's a chance to love
To manifest a life-long dream
Or paint a grand, majestic scene
To sing to others a joyous song
Or help to spur a talent on
Hope takes a world of strife and care
And throws it to the very air
It answers every single prayer
For GOD has promised to be there
So long as we have HOPE.

CHANGE

Change is the pattern of universal laws in action
We are ordered according to law just as everything in nature
The sun rises and sets - the moon waxes and wanes
The tide ebbs and flows - the seasons come and go
Each supplanted by the beauty of the next
Be not disturbed by the changing fortunes of time
They serve only to enhance your growth
Some experiences are painfully bitter
Others delightfully sweet - but they all pass by
Though the power of reflection and response is ours
Life will claim its vicissitudes regardless of our responses
Therefor dwell not to long in one experience
For it will pass and leave you dwelling there
Rather search experience, no matter how desperate
For the opportunity to grow...
For the dark hours of test and trials serve only
To prepare us for the light which is to come
Sit quietly in the dark silence of the night
And listen to your heart...

Life ever changes as the sun
Rises and sets - each phase reflects
Its glory from the first light's ray
That peeks through speckled clouds of gray
The night surrenders to the day
With shades of lavender and pink
And speaks to us with certainty
“GOD IS and I AM"
Rising in fullest majesty
The noonday sun to us it speaks
Omnipotence and radiant love of GOD
One last glimpse of the orange-hued sky
As the golden orb goes rolling by
And whispers in an airy word
To the weary, strife-torn, care-filled world
“PEACE - BE STILL,
AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD."
Yet we are comforted to know
The unfailing orb again will show
Returning to proclaim aloud
“I AM and GOD IS."

I think I'll be a cloud this day anew
Through which the sun its warming rays shall pass
And cast its light upon each blade of grass
That glistens with refreshing morning dew;
Or should I be a bird with out-stretched wings
That glides along and then at once soars high
Creating graceful figures in the sky,
Or perch upon a limb and gently sing;
The songs of spring awaken in my heart
A joy so full and yearning to release
Itself into the world. The song of peace
And universal love I must impart
Yet as I sing the sweet serenity
Whispers, "It is a pleasure being me."

" Sonnet on a Fall "

God's wondrous gifts of love are plenteous
They grow out of the dark, rich, fertile earth;
This monument He built and left to us
Upon us He bestowed it at our birth,
He charged us with the task to multiply
And cultivate the earth till it bear fruit,
But only one lone wish would He deny
That we should eat of the forbidden fruit;
But we succumbed, by serpent were beguiled
By yielding to temptation were made wise
Of good and evil, beautiful and vile
Then claimed the serpent took us by surprise;
From God's amazing grace we quickly fell
Then from the paradise we were expelled .

“A SONG OF JOY"
A song of joy my heart now sings For love into my heart you bring And unto GOD a song of praise He works in such mysterious ways His many wonders to perform This world with beauty He adorns A song to you, beloved dear I sing to you, I'm ever near To comfort you when you're alone Because the seed of love is sewn Implanted in our hearts, and so Just as above, it is below Our love exists on every plane And in the cosmic it doth reign Supreme, for it's the love of GOD And we were chosen by our lot To spread this joy and peace and love So too below as up above A blessing for my dear beloved A prayer that GOD will keep us hubbed To Him that we in His great eyes Be worthy even so to rise Together, and by Divine Grace Commune in His Holy Dwelling Place. .

SONNET ON A VISION

I had a vision of two souls searching
In earnest sought they for their complement
Desire set the cosmic laws working
To bring them love so they could be content
Serving their God they each went separate ways
Their duty to bring joy and harmony
To heal the sick and lonely without praise
Fulfill their goals to lift humanity
The law attracted far from shore to shore
As like minds do adhere to one wave length
With merging souls and minds they struck a chord
And now perform their work with dual strength
Endowed with their reward from God above
They manifest the pure essence of love

COMMUNION WITH A STORM

I watched a storm approach one summer day
The sky grew dark o'er the children at play
As the fierce wind blew up so refreshing and cool
The trees bowed as if to say, “Only a fool
Would resist such a mighty force as this.” Then came the rains, the cool drenching rains
Thrusted violently by the force of the wind
And bathed every vein of the sun-parched earth
Soon the earth will respond to the law with new birth Suddenly, from out of the dark sky ran
A brilliant flash proclaiming the “I AM”
The Almighty spoke in a thunderous roar
Saying, “Listen within - hear what is in store: As the earth abounds in beauty after a storm
Life's tempest will also cause you to grow strong
For I come not to destroy life, you see
But that you may have it more abundantly.” By attuning myself with the rain and the wind
I felt no fear at all - but a quiet within
While the tempest raged on and shook the wild earth
I knew it was only GOD'S forces at work
Performing their duties of cleansing the Earth
So too do the storms of our lives set to work As I listened and watched, a song came to my heart
And from my lips these word did impart: “Thank you, Lord, for sending the rain
Thank you, Lord, for making it plain
Thank you, Lord, all praises to thee
Thou art the ruler o'er all that be.” Soon the rain stopped - the wind turned into breeze
But the lightning yet flashed, in the distant sky streaked
And the thunder yet roared a far distance away
GOD whispered, “I go to prepared a new day,
A new day of joy - a new day of hope
A day far beyond your reality's scope.”
With the last streak of lightning God spoke unto me,
“I go to prepare a place for thee.” ... Then once more the birds took to wing
In the quiet serenity I heard them sing
And after a while the storm clouds rolled away
And a rainbow appeared - what a heavenly day! GOD'S promise of hope, GOD'S promise of love
Now hung in the sky from the heavens above said,
“Renew your attunement from the days of your youth
Follow me now, and discover all truth.”

GRAND CANYON SUNSET
GOD painted a mural in the sky
More beautiful than you or I
Could paint in all our several lives
Though in earnest we may try
This glorious wonder filled my eyes
As I beheld the painted sky
One brush-stroke made the river flow
In rapids as I gazed below
Another caused a gorge to form
Upon each rock HE painted scores
Of layers, each a different hue
Some brown, some red, some even blue
He painted hills on either side
Between them flowed the river wide
Upon each hill another grew
And many more of various hues
Until they mounted to the sky
An awesome spectacle saw I
Upon the mounts HE painted trees
And shrubs in marvelous shades of green
High overhead the golden orb
Was set upon its running course
I watched it glowing through the leaves
Which swayed and danced upon the breeze
From East to West I watched it glow
And luminate the rocks below
Upon each rock the orb showed forth
Reflecting back across the gorge
Each hue in turn glowed with delight
As the rolling orb delivered light
Upon the peaks stood humanity
All different tongues and different
creeds In purpose and in thought all one
All come to view the setting sun
Collective thoughts of love supreme
All marveled at this wondrous scene
The orb rolled on from East to West
Until it found a place to rest
Then GOD'S brush stroked
- we all turned West
To behold grandeur at its best
As the orb set down beyond a distant hill
The wind softly whispered
“PEACE - BE STILL -
AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD”

A JOYFUL PRAYER
My heart is overwhelmed with joy
By Cosmic Masters I'm employed
Instructing me and guiding me
The light of wisdom for to see
Thus unto GOD my heart has grown
For karmic debts I do atone
Realizing yet a higher plane
Where Divine Love and Light do reign
Dear Lord, my life is in your hands
Unfold the mysteries of man
The microcosm thou hast created
The whole of nature thus created
Armed with the joy that fills my heart
Help me this Love Divine impart
To all I touch in some small way
Add to their lives a brighter day
Armed with the knowledge that I gain
Help me deliver from the pains
Of ignorance, my fellow man
Let their lives too, be in your hands.

I thank you, GOD, for loving me

A new realm of consciousness
I thank you, GOD, for giving me
This period of solitude
And allowing me to grow

From the abyss of despair
And dropping in the ray of light
Which fructified my consciousness
Awakening it to new life
a new plane of existence
a new area of growth
a new level of experience
Yet higher than before
I thank you, GOD, for loving me
And giving me the will
To struggle through the darkest hour
In which was sewn the crimson flower
The Rose has bloomed upon the cross
And grows, and grows, and grows.

A SERVANT'S PRAYER
Father of all living things -
Who dwells within my heart
I rest in the hallow of thy Holy Name
And abide in the wholeness of thy
Being which abides in me
I come to thy kingdom within
Where only thy will is done
As it is done within me
So it is manifest in my affairs
I come in thanksgiving for Thy Holy manna
Thy love, the bread of life
Thy Light, which illumines my soul
Thy Life, which animates my spirit
As I eat of the bread of life I understand life's lessons
My karma is justified and ameliorated by
The kindness and forgiveness I give to others
I thank you, Father, for the power within me
To resist the temptations of the flesh
For as I rise above my carnal nature
I am established in thy consciousness
And delivered from all negative thoughts
For thou art the King who sits
Upon the thrown of my inmost being
And thine is the power, the love force that
Operates through my enlightened soul and
Radiates outward for all mankind to see and say,

And fallen in despair
I asked the Lord for strength enough

The Lord reached out, and with His hand

He is my guiding lantern
He's always there to hear my prayer
When I call on the Master
He uses me;
He works through me
He guides my every footstep
I walk in grace lead by his hand
Trusting in His Holy Name
And I know that:
Christ believes in me - for I believe in HIM

TOGETHER IN TIFERET
We stand together in Tiferet
The heart of the Holy Tree
Collecting the rays of each world
As the days of creation are coming to be
The attributes of the Great Parents above
Both manifest in the Son
The pillar of fear and the pillar of love
Are reconciled by the one
Severity - Judgment mercy - Compassion
Are balanced out on the scale
For Tiferet stays in the center and weighs
Both the force and the form of the tale
We stand together in Tiferet
With Hod, Nezah and Malkhut
Existing below, just as so above
A reflection of eternal truth
The subjects all of the kingdom below
Must obey the will of the Crown
And it is the charge of Tiferet
This will unto man to make known
Reaching up to the Daat of knowledge it learns
The great will of the Giver of Law
And to those who obey, it enlightens the way
To redeem themselves from the fall
Both subject and ruler, both Kingdom and Crown
In the heart is the dwelling place
Where Tiferet lies; it reveals to our eyes
Both the upper and lower face
On the Middle Pillar we unite
Above the foundation of earth
Where the guardian stands with dual sword in hand
Where must be proven our worth
We stand together in Tiferet
The Holy Shekinah of Love

Through all our mistakes and errors in life
Through all our trials and woes
Through all our conflicts and worldly strife

Living and loving - both functions of
This grand creation of GOD above

The sun rose for me today
I heard The Father-Mother say
Peace, be still and know that I AM GOD
In all I think, in all I do
This same message funnels through
Attune I to the Great Lifestream of GOD
For in it do I live and move
And is my being surely proved
I see the life of all who come my way
As part of mine and I of thine
As though entangled in a vine
That ties us all together in some way
The Father-Mother meant it so
Just as above - it is below
For nothing is apart from GOD, you see
We all stem from the same Life Source
That once it has complete its course
Returns to GOD all One on the Lifestream

FAREWELL
