Before we can complete this section, you will need to find some interesting sites on the Internet that relate to your responses to each of questions #'s 2 - 5 above. Once you have selected your interesting sites, be sure to record the name and URL (Internet address) of each site.

First study the example below. Then follow the directions.

Example:

I am Carolyn O. Burleson, coordinator of a technology project lab at Lincoln High School. I am especially interested in discovering how the technology of the Internet will impact upon the the teaching/learning process as well as upon the way we will relate to one another in the Twenty-first Century. I also teach classes for ITD on the Internet and its use for education. I have come to this class to teach you how to create web pages. This skill will enable you to make use of the Internet for expanding your lessons and your students' learning base. If I can be of assistance to you, feel free to drop me a line by e-mail.

For relaxation I enjoy listening to classical midi archives gif classical music, reading, writing and spending time with family and friends. I also like making new friends and engaging in philosophical discussions.

To create your links:

1. Highlight the word(s) that you want to link to a site on the Internet.

2. Click on the "Link Editor" icon link editor icon on the toolbar. In the window that appears, type in the URL of the site you want to link. The word(s) will appear in your text as blue, underlined letters (see above). This lets you and the viewer know that more information can be accessed by clicking on the hypertext.
