bullet Read Chapter 12 of the text. Use the Reflection Form for note-taking.
bullet List three major concerns to consider in arranging your classroom environment.  How does each effect student learning?
bullet Consult the Health and Safety References for bulletin numbers of appropriate  documents to help you determine your responsibility as an employee of LAUSD.  Search Inside LAUSD to locate the actual Document and save a copy for your reference.

California Code of Regulations, Title 8, Section 3203, requires each employer to develop and implement an Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)

Obtain a copy of your school's Injury & Illness Prevention Plan.

bullet

Review the plan to learn your role as a teacher in its implementation.

bullet

Conduct a Classroom Hazard Hunt and make necessary corrections. Note what and how corrections were made and the impact upon the health and safety of your students.
