Process Phase Two:

  1. Form a United Nations structure within your class composed of students representing nationalities or ethnicities from your school population. The whole class will identify the five most important rights that are inherently equal to all people at your school.

  2. Using the U.N. as your model, you will form committees, each to focus upon one of these rights.
bullet Determine what barriers exist among your school population
that may prevent equal access to these rights.
bullet Formulate a goal for your team to remove these barriers.
bullet Devise a plan for achieving your goal that considers the
dignity and rights of all and that will benefit the entire school
    population.
bullet Use a thinking map to organization your thoughts and to
illustrate the structure of your plan.
bullet Present your team's plan to your class and to your School Site Council.
