Task

You will view the first half hour or so of the video.  Before continuing to view the film, you and your team-mates must read over the tasks for your project and decide who will be responsible for which.

Your job is to trace the adventure from the time Jonny and the kids get separated from the adults until they reunite.  Then retell the adventure from the point of view of Jonny, the baby panda.

Record facts that you learn about China from viewing the film, and research more facts about China on the Internet.  Then create a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast life in China with Life in America.

Record facts you learn about the giant panda from the film and from research on the Internet.  Create an Open Mind to show Jonny's thoughts and feelings during this amazing adventure.

Learn about the plight of other endangered animal species and what is being done to preserve them.  What can you do to help?
