Process
Before continuing to view the film, you and your team-mates must read over the tasks for your project and decide who will be responsible for which tasks.
Task #1
YOUR JOB is to keep track of Ryan and Ling as they attempt to save a baby panda from a couple of mean poachers. As you view the video, make a timeline of the adventure beginning with the point where the kids get separated from the adults until they rejoin them.
- List ten events on the timeline in the order that they occur in the story, and discover how one event causes another, which causes yet another, etc. Then retell the whole adventure from the point of view of Jonny, the baby panda.
- Create a storyboard to show the six most important events of the adventure.
Task #2
- Record five (5) facts that you learn about the country of China and the Chinese people from viewing this film.
- Use the links below to do some research on China, and record five (5) more facts that you learn about China, the Chinese people and their customs.
- Compare and contrast the Chinese culture to your own. Show this on a Venn Diagram.

- Summary of the adventure with storyboard

- Compare and Contrast two cultures (Venn Diagram)
- Panda Facts (written and illustrated)
- Information on endangered species and our responsibility for the animals.
- An evaluation of your team effort in putting together your project.
