Personal Essay

A. Write an autobiographical sketch (about 350 words) emphasizing the experiences you have had that influenced your decision in setting your career goal.

B. Select three of the following questions and write a paragraph answering each one (50-75 words each).

1. Why are you proud of yourself?

2. Discuss a book you have read within the past year that has been especially meaningful to you. (Explain why.)

3 What special opportunity have you taken advantage of within the past two years? Explain the outcome.

4. What is your most meaningful academic subject? Explain why.

5. Of your list of activities, which one is the most meaningful to you? Why?

6. In what area do you feel you have grown the most during your high school years? (This can relate to a school subject, personal growth, a skill you have learned, etc.)

7. Write a character sketch of yourself.

8. What do you expect to gain from attending college?
